Blocking youtube ads has never worked for me either

https://raw.githubusercontent.com/anudeepND/youtubeadsblacklist/master/domainlist.txt
https://api.hackertarget.com/hostsearch/?q=googlevideo.com
and still get youtube adds, so not sure whether this method ever worked or youtube just found a different way to deliver their adds.
